The SCS sang at the Castle Museum, a new location, during Jazz on Jefferson 2017. The songs performed were highlights from the previous season’s concerts Dancing in the Moonlight and It’s Broadway, Baby!

Jazz on Jefferson is a one-night event celebrated along the historic South Jefferson Avenue. The festival boasts an attendance of 3,000 visitors, and it showcases the vitality of the neighborhood and institutions located on the street. This was 14th year for this popular event and feature musicians, food, and an antique and classic car show.

It’s was tremendous fun to sing for the event. People passing by stopped to listen to the high-energy tunes we all loved singing and it felt great to be contributing to the fun of it all. It felt especially good to reach out via Facebook Live to people who may not have otherwise known what was going on. We hope to see them next year!
