On Friday, October 20, 2017, at 9:30 am, the Saginaw Choral Society is hosting Michigan author Johnathan Rand in an inspiring and FREE presentation at the Temple Theatre for students grades 3-6. Using storytelling to convey the importance of literacy and the language arts, Johnathan will entertain and engage your students about the world that is opened to them through reading and writing. Then, be sure to mark your calendar for the Saginaw Choral Society concert, “Michigan Chillers,” with Johnathan Rand on October 21, 2017, at 3:00 PM in the Temple Theatre!

Schools participating in Friday’s event will receive:

  • Three books from the Michigan Chillers series to add to your library
  • Students from the first ten schools to register will be entered into a drawing to participate onstage with Mr. Rand during the Saginaw Choral Society performance, “Michigan Chillers”, on Saturday, October 21
  • Complimentary tickets for participating students to attend the Saginaw Choral Society concert, “Michigan Chillers,” with Johnathan Rand
  • Discounted family ticket packages for participating schools to attend the Saginaw Choral Society concert, “Michigan Chillers,” with Johnathan Rand
